Negative feedback
Feedback that works to cancel deviations from a goal. It exhibits goa-seeking behaviour. The control decision attempts to adjust a system level to a value given by a goal introduced from outside the loop.
Network Addressing Domain
A subset of the global addressing domain consisting of all the NSAP addresses allocated by one or more addressing authorities.

Network Entity A functional portion of an internetwork router or host computer that is responsible for the operation of internetwork data transfer, routing information exchange, and network layer management protocols. Network Entity Title The global address of a network entity. Network Layer 1- One of the seven OSI layers, providing the upper layers with independence from the data transmission and switching technologies used to connect systems; responsible for establishing, maintaining, and terminating connections.
2- The ISO network layer is responsible for providing a uniform service interface for the transfer of data among end systems and intermediate systems (ISs) utilising the ISO protocol architecture.
Network Management Network Management is the set of functions related to the management of various OSI resources and their status across the Network Layer of the OSI architecture.
Network Service Access Point Point within the ISO protocol architecture at which global end users may be uniquely addressed on an end-to-end basis. Network Topology Map Network Topology Maps provide an overall view of the global network connectivity, and are used in path computations by the operative routing algorithm. Networked Organisation An organisation consisting of multiple (remotely located) parts either fully interconnected (as in a computer network) or connected via some form of hierarchical structure. Night Note : Civil twilight ends in the evening when the centre of the sun'’ disc is 6 degrees below the horizon and begins in the morning when the centre of the sun’s disc is 6 degrees below the horizon
The hours between the end of evening civil twilight and the beginning of morning civil twilight or such other period between sunset and sunrise, as may be specified by the appropriate authority. Night Duty A period of not less than four hours between 22h00 and 07h00 next morning.
Noise Factor A figure defined for a receiver as the ratio of the noise at the output of the practical receiver and the noise output of an ideal receiver at standard temperature T0 (290° K). The noise factor is in practice defined as the Signal-to-Noise ratio at the input divided by the Signal-to-Noise ratio at the output of a receiver.
Nominal Position (MONA) The flight related position obtained by horizontally projecting the current position of a flight onto its system trajectory. Nominal Position (MTCD) 3D-position of an aircraft as defined by its system trajectory. Nominal Route (MTCD) The route of an aircraft as defined by its system trajectory.
