Core Area

The CORE Project is designed to be ESCAPE compatible.
Core Tasks

Correct Mode A
For each plot message an expected mode A code is determined in the mode A reconstruction process and each plot is assigned to one of the following three possible states for mode A correctness: a) Correct. Expected mode A is available and mode A code of the plot is present and is equal to the expected mode A code; b) Incorrect. Expected mode A is available and mode A code of the plot is present and is not equal to the expected mode A code; c) Undetermined. "Expected mode A is not available" or "mode A code of the plot is absent' or "the plot is not supposed to have mode A correctness (i.e., PRI and MISS plots)".
Correct Mode C
For each plot message an expected altitude is determined in the altitude reconstruction process and each plot is assigned to one of the following three possible states for mode C correctness: a) Correct. Expected altitude is available and mode C code of the plot is present and in the scope and is equal to the expected altitude; b) Incorrect. Expected altitude is available and mode C code of the plot is present and in the scope and is not equal to the expected altitude; b) Undetermined. "Expected altitude is not available" or "mode C code of the plot is absent or out of scope" or "the plot is not supposed to have mode C correctness (i.e., PRI and MISS plots)".
Correlated Errors
