Table Any kind of structure used to store Static or Dynamic Data in an organised way in a database. Tacit knowledge Implied or indicated knowledge which has not been actually expressed. Tactical Type of operational ATC situation. Tactical ATC situations involve time-critical communications, concerned with the tactical separation of aircraft for immediate safety reasons, or for other reasons of a time-critical and immediate nature. Tactical Air Navigation TACAN is a UHF radio navigation system which provides a pilot with relative bearing and distance to a beacon on the ground, a ship, or to specially equipped aircraft. TACAN is the primary tactical air navigation system for the military services ashore and afloat.

 
Tactical Civil/Military Co-ordination See Level 3 -Tactical ASM. Tactical Constraint An ATC constraint issued by a controller in a guidance order of clearance. Such constraints concern individual flights and are dynamically applied. Tactical Flight Level A flight level which is not flight-plannable and which is reserved for tactical use by ATC. Tactical Traffic Probing (AMAN) It is an optional AMAN advanced tool that enables the supervisor or dedicated controllers of enhanced "what if probing?" (very advanced AMAN only). "What if... probing" are of the following type, but not limited to: allow the user to determine when to change runway direction, close runways, modify the established sequence; inform the user on effects when introducing holding stack. Target A generic term for either a plot or a track. Target Date A date by which a particular action (e.g. application or implementation) is to be achieved. In the CIP context required target dates resulting from Ministers, or Project Board decisions were applicable to all ECAC States participating in EATCHIP; target dates proposed by the Project Leader had to be approved by the Project Board. Task Mastery The level of professional expertise expected of a person considered to be an expert in the field. Taxi Time The time taken for a flight to push back, start engines, taxi from the stand or parking place to the run way holding point, possibility via the de-icing stand. Taxonomy Taxonomy is a classification based on explicit principles. The purpose of taxonomies in the training domain is to classify objectives.
