Go over the whole session and review his performance. Give credit where it is due but do not hesitate to point out his mistakes. Teach him how he can correct his mistakes. Be responsible in your judgment without being over critical. This will motivate him to do better without undermining his confidence.
End the debriefing with a brief of the exercises to be covered during the next session. Emphasize that, in order to perform well in the air it is very important to prepare on ground.
6.3 WRITING OF PROFICIENCY REPORTS
Proficiency Report Forms are self explanatory to fill. All the columns are to be filled with letters S (Satisfactory) or U (Unsatisfactory) as per the performance of the crew. It is mandatory to write in the remarks column when the performance under any head is
unsatisfactory.
For writing the remarks column, use BLOCK CAPITAL letters. (NOT running hard)
The remarks should be precise and unambiguous.
One Refresher Form, one LC/IR Form and one Profile Form, duly filled, are given as
guidance.

7.1 A310 SIMULATOR -EMERGENCY PROVISIONS AND ACTIONS IN THE EVENT OF FAILURES
7.1.1 Emergency escape ladder: A rope ladder is provided for getting off the simulator in case of an emergency. It is tied with the railing of the maintenance walkway, to the right of the Flight compartment door.
7.1.2 Operation:
. Open the buckles and take out the coiled rope ladder and throw it between the top and the middle bar of the railing down to the ground.
. The best way to exit is to straddle the middle bar and reach down to a convenient step with one foot. While keeping your hands safely on the railing bar, step with the other foot before descending down to the building floor.
