12.3.3 Bratsk Airport (UIBB/BTK)
This airport is in South Central Siberia just North of Irkutsk and the Western endo fo Lake Baikal. There is terrain to the Northeast of the runway (3207). The runway is 10,367 ft in length, and has an ILS instrument approach to runway 30.
12.3.4 Irkutsk Airport (UIII/IKT)
This airport is in South Central Siberia just North of the Western end of Lake Baikal. The area is forested with low hills and does not have any significant terrain problems. The runway 12/30 is 9.072 ft in length, and has an ILS instrument approaches in both directions. There are obstacles west and southeast of the airport (2313).
12.3.5 Khabarovsk / Novy (UHHH / KHV)
The city of Khabarovsk is the administrative center of Khabarovsk Territory, on the Amur River near its convergence with the Ussuri River. It is a major industrial center, served by the Trans-Siberian Railroad and the largest Russian city east of Lake Baikal. Manufactured products include iron and steel, refined petroleum, motor vehicles, machinery, and forest products. Population (1995) 774,762. peak (2,933 m/ 9,623 ft.) in the Suntar Khatyata range in the north. The territory has severe winters and warm, humid summers. The terrain around the airport is relatively flat with low hills (984) to the North. The airport has two parallel runways 05L/23R and 05R/23L. Runway 05/23L has an ILS in both directions and is 13,123 in length.
12.3.6 Krasnoyarsk (UNKL / KRS)
Krasnoyarsk is the administrative center of Krasnoyarsk Territory, located in southern Siberia. Krasnoyarsk is a port and rail center on the Yenisey River. One of the chief industrial centers of Siberia, the city has shipyards, a huge hydroelectric facility, and factories producing farming and lumbering equipment, chemicals, forest products, aluminum, cement, and textiles. Population 1,122,874 (1995). The airport has two runways 11R/29L and 11L/29R. Runway 11R/29L is 12,139 in length and has an ILS instrument approach to each end. Runway 11L/29R is 5,906 in length and has an ILS instrument approach to 29R. There is terrain to the South of the airport (1900).
