Missing Flag status where the data is not available to compute a valid performance measure value.
Needs Attention Status Status indicating that the flag’s underlying data is significantly out of the expected range. Appears on the flag display as an exclamation point symbol next to the flag. An acknowledgment is required.
Occurrence Records in NPTRS having activity numbers 1725, 3720, and 5720.
Operator Group Groups of air operators that are similar. Each air operator belongs to one and only one operator group.
Page The basic document of SPAS and Internet Explorer. In SPAS, a structure that contains what data to display and how to display it.
Performance Measure A formula for computing or analyzing the performance of a certificate holder, regarding a specific subject area (for example, operations training).
Personal Flag Display Display designed for inspectors recorded in NVIS.
Represents the inspector’s responsibilities as recorded in NVIS.
Principal Inspector In SPAS, the only users with the responsibility to acknowledge flags for a particular certificate holder and performance measure, and assign a proxy to substitute for him or her.
Profile A summarization of SPAS data in a particular area using information from multiple data sources.
Properties Attributes or characteristics of an item.
Proxy Substitute for a principal inspector with temporary responsibility for acknowledging flags in SPAS.
Query and Browse Technique that allows you to search a database to find specific records, or to browse a database and see what is in it.
Quiescent Status None or nominal state. Status that does not require an acknowledgment, and indicates that the principal inspector or designated proxy has not entered one recently. Appears as no symbol or a square symbol in SPAS.
