柴静在《看见》第八章里也是讲维权的事，章标题是《我只是讨厌屈服》，有个人物叫郝劲松，他曾经因为在火车上买水，火车不给发票，打了七场官司。他说：“在强大的机构面前人们往往除了服从别无选择，但是我不愿意，我要把他们拖上战场，我不一定能赢，但我会让他们觉得痛，让他们害怕有十几二十几个像我这样的人站出来，让他们因为害怕而迅速地改变。”

  我没有郝劲松那么利他，我手撕国泰飞猪也只是想要回我五千多票钱，但是当那么多人私信我寻求帮助时，我感觉还是有必要把我的经历分享出来，给大家一个参考。

  沉默是对恶的纵容。

Here is a complaint to Cathay Pacific Airline.

Reason

The said airline refused to refund the tickets cancelled by the event of force majeure.

I booked a ticket on Mar 27 from Manila to Hong Kong with the flight date of April 15. And on April 8, I received an e-mail from the said airline, telling me I couldn't go to Hong Kong because of the covid-19. Then I processed the refunding on Alitrip platform where I bought the ticket and was refused for 3 times. Then I contacted the platform, only to know that the reason why I had been refused was that HK released the travel ban policy on Mar 25 and I booked the tickets on Mar 27.

But the reason is ridiculous.

1. The travel ban policy released on Mar 25 was only valid for 14 days. I didn’t know any further information until April 8, which is much later than the date I booked the ticket on. It is an event force majeure that the policy would last after April 8.

2. I processed the refunding on the early morning of April 9, the second day after I received the e-mail, but the airline refused. And I applied two more times and both were refused. It’s already very soon in case the airline resold the tickets.

Above all, I shoulder no responsibility for this cancellation.

Requirement:

1. Cathay Pacific airline shall refund all the money to me for the ticket booking, which amount to RMB5,610.

2. Apologize to me.

Inpiduals are always weak before big airlines, which set complicated process to make consumer's benefit very hard to protect. But I do believe the successful benefit protection will be a warning to these airlines who ignore consumer's benefit, which will benefit thousands of passengers. Hope CAB will reply.
